In 2021, HRForecast celebrated its seventh anniversary. During this time, we’ve managed to grow from a consultancy firm to an HR tech company that develops SaaS solutions for people analytics and strategic workforce planning. Times and people changed, but the essence of HRForecast always stayed the same. Our goal has always been to help our customers make informed, data-driven HR decisions.
Our customers are our source of pride. We follow several rules to keep our customers happy, contribute to their growth, and boost our cooperation. Let’s find out what makes companies like Siemens, BASF, and Merck choose HRForecast.
1. A one-stop-shop for HR consulting, software, and analytics
One of our clients once said: “When I want consultancy I go to McKinsey, when I need a tool, I go to SAP. If I need both, I ask HRForecast.”
This phrase perfectly represents who we are. As we’ve already mentioned, we started as a consultancy firm. Our goal was to provide HR managers with tools and knowledge in intelligent and sustainable people management back then. We wanted to prevent organizations from downsizing, redundancies, lay-offs, and other adverse HR decisions.
We’ve always been advocates of state-of-the-art technologies like Big Data, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. We could see a great potential of using them for employee development, upskilling, building a future-proof workforce, and more. That’s how we’ve grown in an HR tech company that not only provides consulting but in-depth market analysis and SaaS products for people analytics and strategic workforce planning as well.
Thus, you don’t need to look for multiple companies and advisors to set up your HR data strategy, get insights on the labor market, conduct a skill gap analysis, or establish an internal talent marketplace using data-based tools. HRForecast is a perfect combination of software tools and consulting.
2. A source of insights
Our next specialty is access to valuable insights from publicly available data, such as millions of job postings, patents, and statistical data. Therefore, we help our clients gain insights into global labor market supplies, demands, competitors, and costs.
For example, recently, we conducted a massive analysis of more than 200.000 job postings in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry in Germany to figure out the state of future job profiles and skills in the short and long terms. Through the analysis, we could provide the key stakeholders with a preview of potential changes in the skills landscape.
Analysis like these can be used to improve workforce decisions, monitor competitors, industries and trends, determine top future skills and jobs, and trace the evolution of skills in a particular location.

3. Flexible approach
Currently, we develop three SaaS solutions:
- Market Intelligence – a people analytics platform.
- smartPlan – software for strategic workforce planning.
- smartPeople – an internal talent marketplace and skills management platform.
However, that doesn’t mean that our work ends with software setup and maintenance. In fact, we continue to develop our solutions further. We believe that our clients and their end-users are the key stakeholders, so their feedback is paramount. For instance, if a current solution or a service doesn’t fulfill the customer’s needs, we’ll work the solution out and develop new functionality or revamp the existing one. So, our flexibility is our superpower.
4. Focus on security
Working with the data is like a tightrope walk. We understand the consequences of data breaches and security vulnerabilities. That’s why we put a set of measures in place to ensure impeccable data privacy and integrity:
- ISO27001 certification that implements an information security management system and standards
- A dedicated data center in Frankfurt that runs on Amazon Web Services
- Following a set of data isolation policies to segregate the client data and data encryption policies
- Software architecture based on the “Privacy by design” principle
- Compliance with GDPR standards
Moreover, we source the data for our market intelligence services ethically. That means we only use the data from public resources like job postings, public job boards, vacancies on official websites, etc.
5. Proven track record
Our clients come from diverse industries: chemical, pharmaceutical, medicine, automotive, telecom, and beyond. Most of our clients are global companies like Continental, Lufthansa, Siemens, and Merck, however, our services and solutions are also a great fit for SMBs and large enterprises. We ensure a high level of security, valuable insights, and valid interpretation of the data, so our customers can take advantage of the data and proceed to an action plan.
